Everyone’s needs are different so we try to ensure we have as broad a range of property available for our prospective tenants to choose from as possible. These will usually range from flats and apartments right through to large detached town and country houses.

If you are seriously looking to rent property make sure you send us your details and we will keep you promptly updated with everything that may be suitable. Remember, the more information we have about your circumstances and preferences the better we can match to your requirements. Either call your local office or fill out the Tenant Registration form.

Tenants of ours all rent their property for a variety of different reasons. Some simply find renting more flexible than home ownership. Others are on short term employment contracts in the area and therefore don’t want the commitment of buying.

New property becomes available all the time, whether it is existing tenancies coming to an end or fresh property coming onto the letting market. Because of the type of property we handle we do experience a high demand for our properties so do act quickly if you see something you would like to view.

If you wish to rent a property through Homeland Lettings there are certain formalities to be completed to make it easier for you to understand and speed up the administration process the following information should be understood:

REFERENCES : Are carried out by HomeLet
FEES : Please contact Branch for a detailed breakdown 01843 868 881

Important Information: we must point out that if in the event “you”, the tenant pulls out of this transaction for whatever reason then you will lose your initial holding deposit however large this may be, if it comes to light that you given false information about references then us as “agent” have the right to with hold your holding deposit plus any other funds we may hold to contribute towards our cost and also for the landlords as way of possible rent loss and wasted time.

Advice for tenants

  • Renting a property has never been easier with Homeland Estates
  • We can make finding a new home as easy as possible.
  • The ‘moving experience’ starts as soon as you decide to move so this guide will help you get started and make it a good experience.

Basic steps to finding the right property

  • Whatever your previous experience or if it’s your first move, your letting agent will try to make it as easy and trouble free as possible.
  • Be as clear as possible about what you are looking for.
  • Make sure your agent is always looking out for the right property for you as they go very quickly.

Why rent?

  • Renting has never been easier, with rising house prices renting can sometimes be the best thing to do!
  • There could be plenty of rental properties available in your town. Why not use our property search to view rental properties on line now?

Deposit and costs

  • A tenant always pays a deposit before moving in to a rental property.
  • If handled correctly, the deposit is past to the DPS which is a government backed safe place for the deposit to be held
  • The deposit can only be placed with the DPS, this was law in April 2007

What you need to remember

  • When you find a property you like, you will need to be ready to provide references and a deposit.
  • You then need to concentrate on the move itself getting in touch with utility providers to arrange your gas and electric connection.
  • You also need to think about insuring your possessions.
